Carrara marble tile

Carrara marble tile is white or blue-grey marble of high quality, popular for use in sculpture and building decoration. The stone comes from the mountains of Carrara located in the province of Massa and Carrara in the Lunigiana, the northernmost tip of modern-day Tuscany, Italy. The Carrara Marble has been used ever since the time of Ancient Rome. The marble from Carrara was used for some of the most notable buildings in Ancient Rome: The Pantheon, Trajan's Column, Column of Marcus Aurelius. The present-day Carrara Stone has been quarried with modern techniques and it is being transported world over to make a variety of products ranging from 12x12,18x18, 24x24 field tiles to mosaic tiles to trims and moldings, window sills, countertops, fountains, slabs and much more. The profound romance of American people for White Carrara Marble has taken the stone to almost every household, be it backsplash for kitchen or bathroom, flooring for living room or dining room, accent wall covering, countertop for vanity or just a set of coasters or a cutting board in the kitchen we love to choose Carrara Marble. The stone is also being blended with glass and steel to make contemporary mosaic tiles. The tiles are available in array of finishes such as polished, honed, tumbled, split face, matte and glossy.
